Onto November…A month where we remember…

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

It’s a Boy!!

Miss Kim and her family are proud to announce the birth of their new baby boy!!!

Jaxon Wishinski, born mid last week weighing 6lbs. 10oz. Baby and family are doing very well:)

 Fun Family Phonics: Letters this month…Letter G: Nov 2nd & 3rd, Letter H: Nov 9th & 10th, Letter I: 16th & 17th, Letter J: Nov 23rd & 24th, Letter K: Nov 30th & Dec 1st.

Children may bring 1 item that begins with the letter of the week.

 Themes: Teddy Bears, Remembrance Day, and Colors.

Reminder: Parents please return your child’s emergency consent cards. Please attach a picture to the back. If you did not receive a card please ask us for one. Thank-you!

Important Notice: On Friday, November 6th we will be having a Pajama and Teddy Bear Day! Children are welcome to wear PJ’s and bring their favorite teddy!

Ready, Set, Learn

                                       Ready, Set, Learn is a workshop funded by the Ministry of Education for both child and parent, to encourage and develop early learning in children. All preschoolers attending Kids in the Grove will be given first chance to sign up. We have handed out a separate form for parents to fill out and hand back. If you did not receive a form there will be copies at the preschool. Forms must be handed in, in order for your child to attend. There will be NO preschool on the dates of Ready, Set, Learn. Parent/caregiver participation is mandatory! Siblings cannot attend Ready, Set, Learn as we are encouraging one on one time with child and parent/caregiver.
